About the Authors

Giverny Cafe (Cover Photo): Mary-Anne is Managing Editor of Five on the Fifth. She has a Master's Degree in Professional Writing from Towson University. Currently, she teaches at AACC and Towson University. Her work can be found in Gone Lawn, Crack the Spine, Duende, and Flash Fiction Magazine. Her most recent piece, “The Oyster Therapist," can be found in Gravel Magazine.

Between Two Strangers: Ana Prundaru is the author of Anima (dancing girl press, 2018). She has contributed creative work to DIAGRAM, New England Review, Hayden’s Ferry Review, among others. Born in Bucharest, she currently lives in Zurich.

The Miracle of Rice: Barlow Adams is the author of two novellas(ReadLips Press, Grinning Skull Press) and an upcoming novel(Smarmy Press). Things We Lost: Bernard Cox is a writer and educator currently living in San Diego. His writing has appeared in Up the Staircase Quarterly, Collective Fallout, and A Cappella Zoo. Recently, his story, “You’ve Never Seen This Day Before” was a finalist in the 2017 Friends of Merril Short Story Contest. Additionally, he has an MFA in Creative Writing from Roosevelt University and, in 2015, he attended the Clarion Workshop at UCSD.
