ABOUT THE AUTHORS

 

The Language of Love: Bobbi Lurie is the author of four poetry collections, most recently, "the morphine poems". 

Bad News: Ace Boggess is the author of two books of poetry: "The Prisoners" (Brik Road Poetry Press, 2014) and "The Beautiful Girl Whose Whish Was Not Fulfilled" (Highwire Press, 2003). His writing has appeared in Harvard Review, Mid-American Review, River Styx, and other journals, with recent fiction in Notre Dame Review, Coe Review, and the Stokholm Review of Literature. He lives in Charleston, West Virginia.   

The Pit: Tess Fahlgren teaches high school art and creative writing in rural Montana, though in her spare time she is the voice of feminism in her local paper, The Glasgow Courier. Her work has appeared in The Missoula Independent, The Oval Literary Magazine, and in the forthcoming edition of Mountain Outlaw Magazine. She carries a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing from the University of Montana in Missoula.. 

The Takers: Sonya Watson is a Canadian writer. She graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology. She also has a post graduate degree in Cultural and Heritage Site Management from Centennial College. Two of her short stories were recently published in The Story Shack. 

Laika: Ryan Napier was born in Plant City, Florida. He has degrees from Stetson University and Yale Divinity School. His work has appeared most recently in Lowestoft Chronicle, Per Contra, Stoneboat, and the Burrow Press Review. He lives in Massachusetts.
