About the Authors

The Temp Came To The Party: Katherine Vondy is a writer and director whose credits span film, theater and literature. Her award-winning short film "The Broken Heart of Gnocchi Bolognese" screened at festivals worldwide, and her full-length play "The Fermi Paradox" received the 2015 Davey Foundation Theatre Grant. The recipient of writing residencies from Wildacres, Starry Night, the Vermont Studio Center, and the HBMG Foundation, her work has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and has appeared in numerous publications including the Beloit Fiction Journal, Briar Cliff Review, Chicago Quarterly Review, Bartleby Snopes, Quiddity, and Cobalt Review.

Blood on Newspaper, 2014: Shannon Slocum is an MFA candidate at the University of New Hampshire. So far, her work has been published on The Rumpus and HelloGiggles.

Fuseli's Goblin: Rita Feinstein is a graduate of Oregon State University's MFA program. Her work has appeared in The Cossack Review, Menacing Hedge, Queen Mob's Tea House, and Permafrost, among other publications.

High Side: Karrie Waarala's work has appeared or is forthcoming in journals such as Blackbird, Iron Horse Literary Review, PANK, The Collagist, and Vinyl. She is the poetry editor for the museum of americana and holds an MFA from the Stonecoast Program at University of Southern Maine. Recipient of the 2012 Pocataligo Poetry Prize, a Best of the Net finalist, and a multiple Pushcart nominee, Karrie has also received critical acclaim for her one-woman show, LONG GONE: A Poetry Sideshow, which is based on her collection of circus poems.
