The Two Reasons You Wear a Black Suit to Church: Storey Clayton is a current MFA candidate in Creative Nonfiction at West Virginia University. He’s worked as a youth counselor, debate coach, strategic analyst, development director, rideshare driver, and poker player. In the past year, his nonfiction has appeared or been accepted in over a dozen literary journals, including Pleiades, Mud Season Review, Typehouse Literary Magazine, Barely South Review, and North Dakota Quarterly. My Chessmen Wear Red: Damyanti's short fiction has been published at Litro, Bluestem magazine, Griffith Review Australia, Lunch Ticket Magazine, Atticus Review, and other journals in the USA and UK. Her work is available in various anthologies in Asia, and she serves as one of the editors of the Forge Literary Magazine. Her debut novel, "You Beneath Your Skin," was published by Simon & Schuster India in autumn 2019.

Valuable: Jenny Berkel is a singer-songwriter and writer from rural Ontario. In between playing concerts across the globe, she writes, teaches English, and works at the library. Her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in Hart House Review, The Literary Review of Canada, and longcon magazine, amongst others.

Albrecht Gessler, Fierce Austrian Tyrant: Jane Snyder's stories have appeared in Rue Scribe, Lunate, and Summerset Review. She lives in Spokane.

The 11:59 to Washington Square: Cat Sole is a kiwi writer who has been working as a screenwriter and script editor in Sydney for the past three years. She studied at the University of Otago and Sydney Film School, and her writing credits include several short films and web series, including the short film that this flash fiction piece was based on.
